Caramel

Now on my boutique search in D.C. I've come across another fine little store. Just down U Street is a boutique called Caramel. Caramel is owned by Sarah Watkins. She got all of her inspiration from her grandparents. Her grandparents operated and owned grocery stores for 40 years. Ever since Sarah was young she wanted to own her own business like her grandma and grandpa. So she decided to start working to build up to having her own business. She started working at a small local boutique called Nana. She then learned how to run her own business little by little. Then finally she decided she was ready to start her own business. That is when Caramel was created. Sarah has spent the past 16 years managing educational programs and fundraising for non profit organizations. Sarah still spends part of her time as a professional fundraiser and also manages Caramel. The store is named after her grandpa's favorite candy. Caramel has been recognised alot in the press in a very good way. Some of the press includes The Dunpoint Current, Where Magazine, Lucky Magazine, and much more. At the store you can buy men and women clothing very wallet friendly with under the radar labels.
